Puck & Philostrate

Puck, Oberon’s servant, is a mischievous fairy who delights in playing pranks on mortals, with his antics responsible for many of the disasters that propel the action of our play. At Oberon’s request, Puck sprinkles ‘love juice’ in the eyes of various characters to alter their affections, but as he muddles up the mortals and misapplies the juice, conflicts are created that Oberon never intended.

Philostrate is Theseus’s Master of the Revels, responsible for organising the entertainment for the duke’s marriage celebration.
